Meet the Founder
Dr. Feng Yue is the founding director of the Center for Cancer Genomics at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, director of the Center for Advanced Molecular Analysis at Northwestern Institute for Augmented Intelligence in Medicine, and the Duane and Susan Burnham Professor of Molecular Medicine. The main research area for Dr. Yue’s group is epigenomics and 3D genome organization in the context of human diseases. Findings from his group have been published in some of the world’s most prestigious journals, including Nature, Nature Methods, and Nature Genetics. With a recent paper titled Genome-wide detection of enhancer-hijacking events from chromatin interaction data in rearranged genomes published in Nature Methods, his group has become a world leader in the field of three-dimensional (3D) genome organizations in cancer.
